Why? It's close to university and you get the opportunity to socialize with other students.
Personal comments:
I had my own room and shared the bathroom and kitchen with one oerson. Was niicer than living alone.

I have studied everything in German for 20 years, so the language did not represent a problem. But I became more fluent in German and more at ease by talking so much in German.

It was better not to have certain expectations and deal with problems when they arrised. this helped me understand the problems in different cultural situations.
