Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? I like to be independant and have my own rooms.
Personal comments:
a was lucky to find a room in an appartment together with a french girl. so I learned about the real french way of life and had to speak french at home as well. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE
by Jose Miguel, Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena, Cartagena, Spain
Engineering, Erasmus
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Student life dominates the city
Activities: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Nightlife, Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
Pubs and some discos. If you prefer a quiet atmosphere, you can choose some good cafes. Pubs close about 1AM but discos close later. Anyway too soon for me ;( This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

ACADEMIC

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
You should clarify the subjects you really want to study before coming here. You could have some problemsif you don't do it.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
I'm coming here to make the final project degree. It is a good idea to ask for doing it in a factory instead of the university. You could know the general work method in France. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

EXPENSES
by Jose Miguel, Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena, Cartagena, Spain
Engineering, Erasmus
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
Personal savings Other sources of funding:
Family Government assistance An ERASMUS grant Work opportunities:
I didn't want/need to work Personal spending habits:
The main reason is the next one: if you are living in a new place, you try to know everything. Besides the cost of life in France is more expensive than in Spain. Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Food, Telephone: was the same price as at home.
Personal comments:
The best option is having a VISA card, so you can buy in the shps, supermarkets and so on without any commission cost. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
time of courses, i spent more than half of the time at university, it wasn't easy at the beginning, i worked harder than at my place In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
great universitiy, good knowledge, good stuy system, too much foreign students, they don't consider you very much, you're quit alone, you have to be active for meeting people but afterwords it is great FINAL COMMENTS
i loved it, i spent most of the time with local students, they showed me lot of nice places arround the city, a car would bee nice, but local students have some. didn't traveling a lot it was too expencive, train is very expensive, but anyway france is a beautiful country taste the wine!!!
