Course recommendations:
Try not to chose any subjet related to Local Law, because they are really hard. If you are Erasmus student your oportunities to chose are almost infinites. If you are looking for International and Communitarian Law, this is your place, but be careful, because courses are hard. In Politicsl, there are some very interesting subjetcs, specilly for Central and Eastern European Union. But be prepared to be treated for most of teachers as a usual student. Organisation is quite caotic, so try with all your forces to bring your califications with you to your country back.

Personal comments:
Don't expect to meet a lot of local students on class. The best place are parties, and, nevertheless, the most amount of people will be foreigner.

you can find a wider range of courses respect to italy, but at a lower level of research and criticism

I think that a good university like ULB should be better organised concerning contact with teacher and the secretary

don't be scared of the foreign language, it's getting better every day, at the end of the term you already understand a lot

The burocratic life is not very good I think there are a lot of things to do in this way, and probably with the teachers too.

It´s quite a mess. Timetables changing all the time, suddenly dissapeared courses and no info about exams.

I had the impression I was receiving a biased education (the professors would only approach certain topics and not others) which something I did not appreciate at all...

There is such a difference between the classes and professors. Some classes are easy, some really hard. The exams are really tough. There's a huge percentage of drop-outs (50% in year 1!!) and I understand why... The first series of exams are almost too easy, which leaves you with the wrong impression... The second series of exams are so hard - - you better have everything covered for them or you'll fail! You have to be really motivated to get through it all with a high mark... The French education system is very different to the Anglo-saxon one so it's not necessarily easy to adapt. It's definitely a challenge.

Should have a wrinting and oral exam. In my case there was one exam at the end and you either pass or failed all in 10 minutes.
