HOUSING
Personal assessment
Cost
KEY:
Couldn't have asked for more.
Pretty good.
Could've been better, but didn't lessen the overall experience.
Disappointing.
Facilities
Location
Cleanliness
Space
Type of housing: CROUS which is charged of by the French government
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? Living around the university is convenient and safe
Personal comments:
The accommodation in Paris was satisfictory because it's Paris. I paid no more than 300 Euros for a studio, where I have the private space. The quiet and clean enviroment is pretty nice for studing and sleeping. Even thought the reception do not speak English, I am pleased to live in CROUS.

Describe host city: Students interact with the local community without much university involvement

Personal comments:
There are really so many resorts to be remembered, such as the Seine River, the Louvre Museum, the Effile Tower and so on.

ACADEMIC       3.5 / 5
My academic experiences
Quality of courses
KEY:
Fantastic.
Pretty good.
Could've been a bit better.
Disappointing.
Variety of courses
Availability/access to resources
Interaction with teachers
Interaction with other international students
Interaction with local students
Course recommendations:
The courses what we chose are so limited. For example, I have studied mathematics and statistics in China and I got excellent grades on them but I have to choose some maths courses. And we only can choose 2 economics courses among 3 of the economics course. What I mean is we should be allowed to choose 3 economics courses plus 1 maths in stead of obliged to choose 2 economics plus 2 maths. In addition, the professors speak English with strong French accent.

My opinion of the university assessment
Exams at end of course
KEY:
Liked it.
It was alright.
A bit annoying.
Didn't like it.
Exams throughout the course
Essays and/or projects at the end of course.
Essays and/or projects throughout the course
Overall
Personal comments:
Our international students are seperated from the native students in a small building, which has many inconvenient and disadvantage.

There is no a campus so I didn't know well about the university. But from the Professors who gave us lectures, I can say the Paris 1 has a high level academic background.
