Inform yourself, don't think Erasmus will support or the host university will support you in any aspect..Apply yourself directly for a master (maitrise) and organise everthing on your one..i think than you will have a beautiful life there..(you need a lot of money)..and don't expect the french people to talk to you..you have to start..go and do some sports..it's easier to find nice french people - there are some!
