Description:
The University Paris X in its 35 years of existence has become one of France's very finest universities. Situated at only five minutes from the center of "la Défense", it is a multidisciplinary university. Nanterre proposes prestigious study courses in the fields of the humanities, the social sciences, law, economics, business administration, applied mathematics, and sport. Founded as an annex to the Sorbonne, Nanterre has, since the opening of the first building in October 1964, achieved a considerable place in the French and European universitary landscape. Nanterre is best-known for being the source of the 1968 movement, but has also made itself recognized in the scientific and literary domains.

Why? I'd like to share an appartment with some other young people, just to have some freedom, being responsible to clean it, etc.

Why? The Irish College doesn't give you enough freedom, and you won't integrate as well.

This university residence, in my opinion, was the best place to live when I was studing abroad, In the way that you strength your knowledge of that language and you meet a lot of people from worldwide. It was not always easy considering the dimension of my university (30.000 students!),but it was a good choice:in fact Paris-Nanterre offers a large number of courses concerning EU law and international law, which are of great interest for me. Why? i would have an independence that I didn't have while I lived in the Residence. I could also live in a clean ambiance.

If it is confortable because it's near to university, the real problem is that the rooms are very little, the kichens and bathrooms are often unclean and that all Erasmus students are put together and separated from french students.
