Other sources of funding:

Work opportunities:

Personal spending habits:
Food, Housing and Nightlife are all cheaper in France than in England. I spent more on my phone simply as I had a pay as you go French simcard as opposed to a contract, and spent a lot on transport as I travelled extensively, in town however transport on buses is very reasonable.
Travel, Telephone: was more expensive than at home.
Food, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Don't repeatadly withdraw cash from an English bank card, open a French bank account and transfer large sums into that. Also buy a French phone SIM card.

Personal spending habits:
I think it was mainly down to the accommodation being that much cheaper. Though travel is generally cheaper in France, I did more of it than in the UK.
Travel, Telephone: was more expensive than at home.
Food, Nightlife: was the same price as at home.
Overall, Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Get a student/young person travel card of some sort. Not only is it cheaper but it will encourage to go out and do more which is what's it's all about.

Personal comments:
for about ten day, the money couriers who supply the banks with cash were on strike. Was hard to get cash, since cash dispensers always empty. Maybe one or two worked...
