HOUSING
Personal assessment
Cost
KEY:
Couldn't have asked for more.
Pretty good.
Could've been better, but didn't lessen the overall experience.
Disappointing.
Facilities
Location
Cleanliness
Space
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? to live in the center and not to have to take the metro which only functioned until midnight
Personal comments:
It had both advantages and disadvantages, living in the students' dormitory allowed us to get to know a lot of people but we were far from the city, there was nothing in the campus, neither grocery stores, nor bars or newspaper stands

Travel
Overall
Describe host city: Student life dominates the city
Activities: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment
Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment
Nightlife: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment
Personal comments:
As I said, the last metro was leaving the town at midnight,so if we wanted to stay out later,we had to wait until the morning or take the taxi, which is pretty expensive in France. However,I liked the bars at the rue Solferino, but after so much time I forgot their names.Anyway, each visit I had from my home country,I took to the bakery PAUL at Grande Place.

ACADEMIC       2.0 / 5
My academic experiences
Quality of courses
KEY:
Fantastic.
Pretty good.
Could've been a bit better.
Disappointing.
Variety of courses
Availability/access to resources
Interaction with teachers
Interaction with other international students
Interaction with local students
Course recommendations:
Too theorethical,we were studying at an advanced level with 1st year Phd. students. The classes of macroeconomics, microeconomics and econometrics were too mathemathical and did not provide us with the insight we were expecting.

My opinion of the university assessment
Exams at end of course
KEY:
Liked it.
It was alright.
A bit annoying.
Didn't like it.
Exams throughout the course
Essays and/or projects at the end of course.
Essays and/or projects throughout the course
Overall
Personal comments:
The whole programm is a Joint European Studies Programme. That is why we were moving each trimester from one University to the other. However, there were around twenty of us and during the 1st trimester we were divided into two groups. One studying in Staffordshire (UK) and ours in Lille. We would have preferred the courses to be unified for both terms, as our group studied something completely different than the one in the UK.Even though, the course names were exactly the same.
