Personal comments:
cafe in cathedral square, calle del carmen, picnics in the turia park, free concerts at the palau de musica, FALLAS in march - fireworks and great atmosphere, malvarossa beach, the indoor market.

food and accommodation cheaper, and bought from markets a lot. spent more on travelling as tried to explore as much as possible when there.
Telephone: was more expensive than at home.
Travel, Nightlife: was the same price as at home.
Food, Overall, Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
opened own bank account while there - useful but needed residency certificate to get this which took time.
