How much did you improve your Spanish?
My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.)
My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang)
Personal comments:
Learning languages is a wonderful experience and it truly is the ultimate test of your will. There were times I did not wish to speak Spanish, but for myslef I kept going forward. At times living in another country is difficult. I had my bad days and my good days, but overall you learn invaluable things about yourself and the people that surround you.

It was really easy for me to speak in spanish as I knew it before. Thus i learn to speak Catalan, that is very useful there As they people love foreigners that speak it. Now I am able to speak very fluently in the two languages.
