I was housed through 'Houses for you' managing director Javier Ornia. they are the dirtiest most unproffesional, disgusting company I have ever delt with and are threatening and intimidatory. The company is run by idiots and the service they offer is worse than anyone can imagine.

Choosing what modules to study was quite difficult as its such a big university and its quite hard to work out what you can actually take. The Spanish language course whcih was obligatory was very good for improving my language skills.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
Maybe try and have more interaction between the foreign and native students. Because there were so many Erasmus students in the university, we all tended to group together so I'm sure the Spanish just looked as us all as the foreign group. Take advantage of the two weeks you have before you have to registar for classes. This gives you a feel as to what the class is going to be like. If you don't understand the professor, don't take the class!
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
Most of my classes just had the final exam and that was it, so it would be nice to have a chance to get a few more grades. Most professors are easier on exchange students, but some aren't. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

if you can do a first year option do introduction to marketing with felipe ruiz moreno - an excellent lecturer - quite young and quite fit!! Very helpful!

Personal comments:
If you can at the beginning of the course go and see the lecturer about doing a 'paper' that can count towards your end result - this alleviates some of the pressure of the final exam! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

The choices of courses are good, however I feel strongly that there should be more interaction between students and teachers. Also doing more projects for some aubjects would be good as it gives students a better understanding of the subject as well as applying the strategies and content.

Course recommendations:
I enjoyed all of my courses because I was able to learn about Spanish history, semantics, sociology, and language through theatre, cinema, poetry, lectures and literature. However, I would like to study international business practices more in depth becase this is a field I am extremely interested in and possibly a future career path.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
I enjoyed my classes because they were small and very interactive but I would like to have had more classes with Spanish students to hear more of their point of view and become more immersed in their educational system. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

The Spanish classes I was taking were strictly with international students like me. None of them are with native Spaniards unless you are fluent and take regular university courses.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
I didn't really get involved with any of the university life really, because I hung out with other international students from the States, Sweden, France, Germany, etc. But I'm sure that you could if you tried. I tend to be more introverted, so it's harder for me to do that. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

You have to choose it before you arrive because the spanish system is quite different from Italian, you have to choose the exam you are taking the week after you arrive in Alicante, that's 4 months before of the exam!!!!

For students with a stronger level in English than Spanish I reccommend the International Business Programme(IBP) which are business courses taught in English. For those with a good level of Spanish normal spanish courses are great.

Academic life in Alicante is almost perfect, the univeristy's campus is the most beautiful I have seen with lots of palm trees areas for picniks and studying outside. The architecture is also stunning. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
