University of Alicante is a great University. It's clean and modern with a lot of facilities on campus. Try to interact with Spanish students as much as possible and find out what is going on in town.

Alicante is a nice town, however should the opportunity arise to go further south I would take it since I believe that it is even easier to interact with Spanish people there and to learn about their culture.

Tha flat was excellent, just a bit cold during the winter since we did not have any central heating. The landlord and the neigbours treated us very well and we could ask them for anything.
