Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? I enjoyed it that way. It's a good possibility to meet people of your age, students and people from the coutry you stay in.
Personal comments:
In my case, accommodation had nothing to do with the university

Personal comments:
they speak spanish and catalan - that you should know! But if you only spaêak spanish it is no problem at all, everybody knows it and everybody speaks it to you. At university they use both languages and some profs even change from catalan to spanish if you tell them you're a giri.
