they speak spanish and catalan - that you should know! But if you only spaêak spanish it is no problem at all,everybody knows it and everybody speaks it to you. At university they use both languages and some profs even change from catalan to spanish if you tell them you're a giri.

Harlem jazz club - a concert every night, not always on the same level but always coming deeply from the heart...
Zoo bar - nice place to have a drink.

maybe: oveja negra - you get good and cheap sangria there
