You can travel through Spain by buses who are rather cheap.There is also a good trainconnection. Spanish people are nic and open and very direct.you have to get used to there open way of living.They have a beautiful culture Read Review

Why? because it´s easier to meet other students and make new friends.
Personal comments:
There was no more posibility for me to find decent accomodation through the university because I was to late.Everything was already taken, so I rent an apartment from an Imobiliënagency

In town nightlife mostly happens in "calle de cabballeros" where there are lots of bars.In the summer there´s also nightlife in the discotheques at the beach like "aquarel" and "caballito del mar" .In march there are big festivities in town , the "fallas", who are amazing and can´t be missed

In the begining it was dificult because I couldn´t speak a word but after an intensive course of Spanish and thanks to the fact that the universitycourses also were in Spanish it went easier. I had no choice but learning it because it is the only language that they speak in spain

Life is a lot cheaper in Spain so you can do more and sometimes pay less than at home
Travel, Housing: was more expensive than at home.
Overall, Telephone: was the same price as at home.

teachers are rather nice and indulgent with foreign students.there are good accomodations and there is a big library
