HOUSING
Personal assessment
Cost
KEY:
Couldn't have asked for more.
Pretty good.
Could've been better, but didn't lessen the overall experience.
Disappointing.
Facilities
Location
Cleanliness
Space
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? a shared apartment is the best way of getting in touch with people; it's economical and it's just sooooo tight!!!
Personal comments:
the best is to rent a flat. You get the best deal. There are plenty of flats available and students from all over "la Comunidad" are sharing apartments. so you'll get in touch with lots of local people really easily. university housing in spain is really expensive

Language of instruction: Spanish
Was learning Spanish a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my Spanish
How much did you improve your Spanish?
My level before: Basic phrases
My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang)
Personal comments:
Spanish is a must for living in Spain.Others languages are NOT spoken! But it's the best thing that can happen to you. After 3-4weeks you are FLUENT! Just speak, and don't be shy. Spanish people are very open. They love talking to strangers; especially if you are an exchange student
