HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Because you are still independant and it offers you the possibility to live with local persons. This improves your language and culture awareness.

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: Spanish
Was learning Spanish a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my Spanish How much did you improve your Spanish?
My level before: Basic phrases My level after: At ease in most situations Personal comments:
In the beginning it was quit tempting to speak english with the international students, but after a while we decided to talk spanish with each other which worked pretty well. In the begining it was quit hard to keep up the speed during classes, but I managed pretty well due to a course taken beforehand. OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
No, not really. I like to find out things on my own. In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
More integration with local students. FINAL COMMENTS
Make sure you have some knowledge of Spanish before going, so you will be able to find yourself a place to live. Live with Spaniards as it offers you the possibility to speak and understand the spanish slang as domestic terms. Also you get to know the culture and domestic life better. Speak Spanish with every one straight from the beginning even when it seems impossible. Travelling is rather cheap with an international student card. During eatern you should visit Andalusia as it is very green and tempature is bearable in the cities.
