Because university was just next door and many Norwegians and all the other exchange students were living there as well.

Accomodation was ok. It was, compared to other Norwegian prices, not that expensive. But the building was quite old and not very clean.

Final comments
Do as many travels as you can. Norway and all the Scandinavian countries are definitely worth visiting. And try telemark skiing!

The course for learning Norwegian was not worth attending, which I thought was a great pity since I wanted to learn the local language. Communication in English helped enlarge my vocabulary.

Because I wanted to make as many experiences in any area as I could and Norway is more expensive than Switzerland anyway.
