Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Home university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
It's the best way for living an experience abroad. It's a good challenge to realize if you are able to share your life with people you don't know, in fact you have no idea who are you going to live with. And it's very interesting because you have the opportunity to get in touch with different habits of foreign people (both your flatmates and your neighbours).

UCD's campus is great. It has a beautiful location and the apartments are very comfortable. You share your everyday life with your flatmates, but at night you have your own bedroom (that is pretty big), perfect for the privacy. Basicly it's like living in a house, but it's only few minutes away from classrooms.

What you can't miss in Dublin are pubs: there are so many, for every taste. But discopubs are also frequent, and usually have a free entrance. The best one? Zanzibar. The music is great, and the place itself is amazing. But remember that you should be 21 (sometimes they let you enter even if you are younger).

Course recommendations
Most of the courses require a project, but don't be afraid. It's a good chance to find out what you have learnt in class.

At the beginning it has been a bit hard, but people were very kind. I always met people that helped me everytime I couldn't understand. And in university teachers used slides, so I have had little problems to follow the courses
