HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Personal comments:
In my opinion it's very useful to attend the House Search Event before the starting of the term because it gives you the opportunity to find easily an accomodation. Morover, the Accomodation office is always available to give you advices or to help you if you have any problem with you landlord. STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Student life dominates the city
Activities: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Nightlife, Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
You hardly can get bored in Bristol during the night: go to Bristol Academy or Creation if you like hip-hop and r'n'b music (on thursday), try to get into the Massive Attack club, don't miss all the clubs on the Watershed. Enjoy tipical English pub from 7pm till 11pm: if you like jazz and want to have fun, go to the Old Duke. To dance salsa or just to breath a "latin atmosphere" go to Fiesta Havana (my favourite!)...
