Type of housing: dormitory
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: dormitory
Why? The dorm was nice to live, as most of the foreign students (CESP) students were staying here. Having contact with other foreign people was really easy.
Personal comments:
Accomodation was pretty good overall. Each student had to share a room with another student. The facilities in the room, however, were described better as they actually were. Room in the dormitory includes: bathroom with toilet, a tiny kitchen and a living area, including two beds and two desks. Since the costs of living is not high, the things necessary could be bought there rather than taken from home. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Type of housing: On campus

If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Well it depends on the purpose of the stay abroad. As a student, it was good being in a building with others students. An apartement would probably be in the future more convenient, although I would not mind sharing the accomodation again.

If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? Because you are in kontakt with other students, you really grow to a family, parties, meetings, get to know each other, meet for going out in the evening - simply fun and friends
Personal comments:
Depends in which part of Jarov dormitory you live, A and B are twin rooms, with own bath and kitchen, C share 6 people these facilities, F and G share 4 these facitlies but in twinrooms too (C F and G) C ist very modern, but overall you can make yourself comfortable there and its ok in every part This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Type of housing: On campus

If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? It's pretty cheap compared to the rest of Prague
Personal comments:
I had little black tadpole like things in my bathroom all semester, pretty disgusting. The carpet looked like it had been peed on on several occasions. It was pretty disgusting. My school told me I'd get a towel, cooking utensils and someone to clean my bathroom once a week, I recieved none of these although some other students did. Overall, it wasn't too bad, you adapt pretty easily. It could've been worse. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? Easier to meet new people. Very cheap accomodation.
Personal comments:
The student dormitories are the cheapest possibility to live in Prague. It is nothing special, but one gets everything what is necessary for living. Internet, kitchen, bathroom is included in the small appartments, which are shared by 4 persons. The houses look like typical architecture from the comunism period, but for the price charged it is more than ok. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? As I will be earning money, I will prefer a place with more space, closer to downtown and with more comfort. Otherwise if I come back as a student, no problems to go back where I lived a year without any problems.
Personal comments:
I really enjoyed living in this place, eventhough it was a litlle bit This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Type of housing: Hotel
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: hotel
Why? Hotels in Prague are a bargain, especially with the extra cleaning and towel service a hotel offers
Personal comments:
Because of the overcrowded campus, I belonged to a group which was placed in a (lower end) hotel. The hotel offered us some more luxury than the campus facilities. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Why? Close to city center, and cool place as there are all the students living here

As a student in a post-communist country you can't ask for more and actually it was pretty good. Maids took care of the room, new towels every day, new sheets once a week.. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Personal comments:
The place was also used as a hostel and it was very dirty. It was cheap and I guess I got what I paid for but if I went back I would prefer to live in an upper scale apartment. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Type of housing: dormitory

If returning, I would choose: dormitory
Why? because you can keep in touch with the rest of exchange students, it's very cheap and it has several facilities (mainly public transports)
Personal comments:
the rooms must be shared by 2 persons each one and there's one building especially available for exchange program students. The cleaning service runs once a month and there are cleaning tools available in the reception. There's a laundry service with 2 machines for all the building. The environment and the social life in the dorm is the best part. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
