Was learning English a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my English
How much did you improve your English?
My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.)
My level after: At ease in most situations
Personal comments:

Personal comments:
My home university in Paris provide 50% of courses in English, so I had no problem in understanding teachers. It was more difficult with people my age since I was not at ease with slang at the beginning. After a couple of weeks, I was able to understand easily any kind of situations.

Overall, interacting with local students throughout social activities (sports, associations, class projects, friends...) helped me the most in becoming fluent and in leraning the culture. I think socialing with local students is equally important to studying well in class.

At the beginning, it was a little bit hard, specially during courses because the vocabulary is more specialised and people speack fast and interact eachother. But the oral comprehension improved very quickly and at the end of the semester, i saw a big improvement in the langage. Now, I am fluent in english!
