Start arranging the paperwork very early. Buy a car Don't have a small budget for this area, everything is expensive but the fun is worth it. Find a good place to live, for example an international student complex. Read Review

Facilities
Location
Cleanliness
Space
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? It's nice to live in an International Student Complex to get to know a lot of people from different cultural backgrounds.
Personal comments:
The campus is old and people share their room with others.

Money from home

Family
Other sources of funding:
Personal savings
Work opportunities:

Personal spending habits:
The exchange rate is very high. Spending one dollar is the same as 2,5 guilders in The Netherlands. Telephone more to keep in contact with friends and family.
Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Buy a car for there, this will save a lot of money and time. Call only with the cheapest international phone cards, this can save much money Get used to the big effort needed to arrange things in institutions.
