Font Bar at the university campus plays awesome music. Shopping malls like Galleria are also a good hangout. St Albans is the closest city and is a good place to shop, eat or just hang around

Becayse Hatfield is pretty near to London, i spand most of my free time going out over there. My favourite area for going out at night was Soho.

Cinema in the shopping centre Galleria is very good - Its good to have a car with you since there are a lot of nice villages alround

The club on-campus should not be missed, party every wednesday and friday (but i can hardly remember). Another good pub is in St. Albans. I can't remember its name either, perhaps "The Firkin", but it is well-known among the students. Live music every friday, fair prices and good people around. Above all, the ERASMUS parties!!!!

The best places if you go to study to this University are in London and if you want to practice soem sports The students Guide snd support office wil inform you. Regarding to travels is really very cheap travelling from london to some places in Europe or within the country from any of the fourth airports of the city.

In fact I didn´t like Hatfield much at all so when we wanted to do something we went to London which only takes about half an hour. StAlbans is also a nice town not far from Hatfield. My best tip is to spend as much time as possible with english and other people from all around the world.

The only night spots are on campus and are really small and cramped. They built a new building with five bars in it but they are the smallest bars you could ever imagine. They are overly cramped and often only have 1 bartender so you wait in line for half the night to get your drink.

Favorite club : Batchwood in St Albans (Student's night every Thursday), Best pub: The O'neils in St Albans, Watford shopping center is huge!
