You alwasy spend more when abroad. Getting used to the local prices and also having a very active social life.
Food, Travel, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home.
Nightlife: was the same price as at home.
Personal comments:
try to ask the locals where to shop. For examples , the market and Spar is cheaper than Sainsbury's

we hads to economize but it was better than i thought it would be. only travelling can be very expensive.

we weren't at first allowed to open a bank account. only halifax was willing. it was a pain though.

Because I have to call my family (for the telephone); food is more expensive, and everything for the housing is more expensive also!

Great Britain is much more expensive than Poland and exchange rate is also unfavourable.

Many bargins may be found at the Open Market. Post New Year's Eve sales give a great opportunity to purchase some cheap and high quality clothes.

It was not legal for me to work

This was the first time i was out of home and took me sometime to settle down. Initially didnt really get to the taste of the food and also tend to travel with friends.

Telephone: was the same price as at home.
Personal comments:
Not really as i use to plan my expenses.But yes while travelling i tend to spend a lot. One just needs to budget oneself atleast on a weekly basis.
