Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
the dollar/euro-exchange rate makes living on campus much cheaper for Europeans; you are closer to the bars/clubs and the quad

It were the apts in Randolph Street. It's not part of Campustown, so in the night, and when it's cold it really appears to be far away - though, autumn 2006 was pretty mild, so I could use my bike for a long time. Pool was nice! Cock roaches not!

Overall
I wish I had known...
It would have been nice to be informed about the fact that you could no longer attend financial classes from the CBA via LAS.

In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
Important factors in my choice
(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
It's hard to get the classes you need and want; if you are a business major and want to do something different, then you should really go there!

Final comments
It's a cool party university in the middle of nowhere. The campus is awesome, and I like it best of all campus I've seen (I saw UCLA, Berkeley, McGill). As an international you will really party a lot. But for traveling on the weekend the location is, for sure, not the best. It takes a long time by bus to get to Chicago. The sports facilities are great, certainly when IMPE opens again it will be overwhelming. Buy a car, otherwise you are stuck!!!
