great clubs like "planet earth" and "majestics" some great english pubs like "the original oak". Some interesting events: the "oatley run" must be tried, the wharehouse café organises interesting events; the union's cine-club is great. The city does not have many places to visit but the surroundings are interesting

Course recommendations
Professor Bell's lectures are not to miss. Unfortunately I have heard that he is not in Leeds anymore since he is Professor in Oxford now. Criminal law courses are also very interesting

Final comments
I would recomend to everybody to get a part time job. It gives an extraordinary opportinity to met people from outside the universitary environment, and helps with the expenses.
