The cavern club and Anfield are the places not to miss. As one of my flat mates used to say " If I did not go every thursday to the Cavern and every sunday to Anfield why Should I live in Liverpool" The Tate gallery is also something to behold, specially for art lovers like me.

Why?
I lived at the student hall called Grand Central which is just at the city centre.On top of that,It was only 20 minutes away on foot from campus.

In general the student halls were good, but it was not possible to live at those on campus if you were not first year student.

I really had the chance to practise my english and to improve it. At first was a bit hard specially due to the funny accent of the people from Liverpool but after a couple of months I got used to it.
