The university has more undergraduate degrees than almost any other university in the UK. There were some jazz clubs like the Band on the Wall that were OTT. The Infinity was THE nightclub. The Trafford Centre for shopping. If you are a football fan (as I am) you have to pay a visit to Old Trafford and go to Moss Side to watch City (tickets are cheaper). Also Rusholme and its famous Curry Mile where I had the hottest curry I've ever had !!! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Cinemas(plenty of them and special price for students) ScuBar (you can have a good bear in a relaxing atmospehre), Tropicana (where you can find most of the student drinking and dancing cheesy music at a good price), Crobar( just to have a brake), Opera House (pretty small but you can see ballets, operas, and the best musical in tournée all around U.K.) This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Manchester has the largest student population in Europe, so naturally there are many places that cater to the university crowd. While I cannot choose a single spot, Manchester is a city filled with numerous gems of bars, restaurants, and night clubs. The Footage in Oxford Road is both a modern and typical young pub where you can have a good time with your new friends.
