I had the best experience ever! I met a lot of people, i visit a wonderful country, i became a better person, more indipendent and more social at the same time. I advice to everyone to live an experience like that, as it will stay with you forever. Read Review

Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Most of the houses are located in Coogee, which is a very nice suburb, close to the university and to the beach!
Personal comments:
I loved my house! Living at 5 minutes from the ocean is something i will never forget!

Overall
Describe host city: Students interact with the local community without much university involvement
Activities: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment
Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment
Nightlife: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment
Personal comments:
In Coogee you cannot miss the Coogee bay hotel (where you can eat a wonderful barbeque cooked by yourself! and have a drink listening nice music) and the Palace (a pub on the beach, once a week you had the chance not to pay for your drink! 'toss the boss' is called: you play with a coin- head or tail- and hope to have good luck!)

Personal recommendation:
I came from Italy, and in my country we don't have a campus or anything like that. i found UNSW campus very well organised and very nice. Moreover the people who worked at the study abroad office are so friendly that, after almost three years, we are still in touch! they even gave me references for the looking of a job!
