Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Campus is kinda far from the beach and the middle of town...We lived a minute walk from the Great Northern, the train station, Newcastle Beach, Nobby's Beach as well as many cafes and stores you could not beat it. Plus East End Party, Party, Party
Personal comments:
I did not live on campus so I am not sure how they were. I was inside the dorms twice they are really nice inside but trust me live off-campus preferably in Newcastle, Newcastle East, Mereweather. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't. Personal comments:
Considering that they spoke English, it was fairly easy. The Australians did have a hard time understanding my Southern accent, though. In the end, we both learned heaps from each other and new ways to say things. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
That even though they speak English, they have different terms and phrases and it takes a while to catch on completely. In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
Live on-campus and be as open-minded as possible. It doesn't hurt to have friends all over the world! FINAL COMMENTS
Spend as much time in Sydney as possible and also make time to travel up the coast and then to Alice Springs to see "the rock"! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
