Room on campus came with phone (free local calls) and Canadians don't use mobile phones very much which saves call costs. The 15% tax on top of everything is kind of annoying though.
Food, Travel, Overall, Housing: was the same price as at home.
Nightlife, Telephone: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
cook for yourself if you want to save money and the uni meal plans are a waste of money.

Every-day life in Canada is slightly cheaper than in Holland, but in the end I spend more money than back home, because you do more activities and visit more places.

I've never been to America before, so it was the occassion to discover Canada, and transport is more expensive than in France, same thing for restaurant
