Personal spending habits
Finland is more expensive in overall than Spain. The prices of the food were higher. On the contrary, I found the telephone network extremely cheap in comparison to Spain. The housing price was adapted to students. At this point, there were also a huge difference with Spain. The drinks in the bars were much more expensive. Traveling was pretty the same since we benefited from student discounts in some transportations, and the quality of the hostels were much better than Spain and we usually found better prices.

Accessibility of student needs
Second-hand household items
Personal comments
The bus prices. After 23.00 a.m it might cost around 5 euros. It was much cheaper to buy the monthly card. Buying furniture in the second hand stores which are financed by the government was extremely cheap.

Advanced my studies & career
Final comments
Be prepared for the weather and for a long and dark winter. The studies are the priority but if you manage travel as much as you can. Do not get close to people from your home country, open your mind and get into the international environment from the beginning. Try to meet Finnish people, you will get very close and honest friends. If possible, get housing close to other Erasmus, it will help you to socialize.
