Personal comments:
I enjoyed many places in Wales, and the UK as a whole. For outdoors and other scenic interests, I loved the Gower peninsula and the Botanic Gardens. There is also a resort town, not far from Swansea, called Tenby, which is a great place to spend a relaxing weekend. There are a lot of clubs in Swansea, but my friends and I preferred the pubs. Although dancing all night can be fun every once and a while, we liked pubs, especially the Orange House more, because we were able to hang out, talk and meet new people. Swansea had a lot of interesting cultural events and festivals, most taking place in the city centre. The best way to find out about those events was to keep an eye open for flyers and posters around campus, they were usually well advertised. I also took a yoga class in Swansea and took an aromatherapy course at the Gardens, both were unique and a lot of fun. The university itself offered an array of events and activities. We enjoyed going to comedy acts and magic shows, and had the opportunity to participate in a variety of clubs and organizations. The school also sponsored all-inclusive and therefore inexpensive trips to places like Holland and France.

The Kingsway and Wind Street, are THE night spots to visit when in Swansea. Both these streets are loaded with clubs and cafes. There is always something to do. An event which should not be missed is doing the mumbles mile. This is a street with.. well a mile of pubs! I haven't done it myself strangely enough. But I promissed the many friends I made over there, that I will be back to do it.

For what nightlife is concerned you have to go to Mumbles, where the Mumbles Mile takes place every weekend.The city center is also OK for weekends. You must visit Cardiff. You should attend to the rugby match between Cardiff and Swansea University teams. I am sure there are lots of things I am missing, but I could say I really enjoyed myself during my time there.

DIVA´S, the disco within the campus.Just great!fridays are the best day to go. SPOOFERS. the funniest place on fridays+saturdays. TIME. The biggest club in Swansea. great shows! go there on Mondays!! WINDSTREET. It´s a long street full of pubs in both sides.

favourite pub: potter's wheel; however, after rising prices we "moved" to the orange house. best club is "time". not to be missed: wind street! (pubs, pubs, pubs,...)

Most student bars and discotheques can be found on King's Way. Excellent student parties on Monday and Wednesday. Many bars offer discounts for students.

to me the best place to go out its was Time on mondays and Divas on friday the rest of the days its was really expensive go out in the city

WEdensdays was Baron'S day back then. Hip Hammond and Soul grooves from the 60's and 70's and students off their heads

Definetly places as Time discoteque, play discoteque and revolution night spot but also dv8 at the uni.

The pubs in the city centre and the parties alonf the Kingsway are the most popular attractions. Rhossily Bay is wonderful if you love sightseeing.
