HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? because there are situated close to both, university and city centre. that is, you have easy accessability to university as well as shopping, clubs, pubs... no need to use expensive taxis or the bus.
Personal comments:
when you are at the student village you can profit from living with a whole lot of students. however, you are far from the city centre, thus, from shopping facilities, pubs, clubs... when you live in an appartment you are close to both, city centre and university. for me, this choice had been the best. STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Student life dominates the city
Nightlife, Travel: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Activities: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
favourite pub: potter's wheel; however, after rising prices we "moved" to the orange house. best club is "time". not to be missed: wind street! (pubs, pubs, pubs,...) This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
Yes, I wanted to improve my English How much did you improve your English?
My level before: At ease in most situations My level after: No problems in any areas (including slang) Personal comments:
invite british students for a dinner or whatever. they won't try to get in contact with you by themselves. it's YOUR turn. so don't miss it to get the chance to improve your language skills. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
i should have prepared better to culture (social life and costs). In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
academic requirements are not too high in comparisan to austrian and german standards. however, you'll have a lot of fun. furthermore, you'll learn to know a completely different university system. FINAL COMMENTS
bus drive from london heathrow to swansea is loooooong and expensive.... get your ticket in advance! so you don't risk that you have to wait for the next available seatt. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
