HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: Housemates
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Sharing a house with housemates was a nez experience for me and it was cool
Personal comments:
I think the dorms are really expensive for what they are, it is small and youy must share your room. There are lot of students who share a house, the most difficult is to find the good housemates. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students interact with the local community without much university involvement
Activities: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Nightlife: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
Nothing if you are under 21, morover it is not Paris, bars and clubs are not really good. The cafes are okay, but 10 months, that is long. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
The first week of the quater you can change your course, don't hesitate to do it, don't keep a course that seems easy, because it will be really boring
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
Sometimes, there are discussions on the readings, it is not interesting, each student speaks about his feelings, sometimes things really stupid are said. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

None Work opportunities:
It was not legal for me to work Personal spending habits:
Life in Seattle is cheaper than in Paris. But it is right that the exchange with the euro was really good for me ans my night life was near of zero the first 7 months. Food, Travel: was more expensive than at home. Nightlife, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Use the supermarket card, you will save some money. Don't use bank transfer from your French bank to your us bank, it is really expensive, take cash with your french card and put the cash on the us account. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
UW and Seattle are a good place for staying one year in the usa. Beautiful landscapes, but the city itself is really 'provinciale'. In my opinion:
I loved it but I'm not sure everybody would.
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
The university has a beautiful campus, lot sport facilities, especially the IMA. It is really difficult to have local friends, most of your friends will be other international students FINAL COMMENTS
An interesting year, but less fun than I had hoped. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
