Work opportunities:

Personal spending habits:
I spent more in most areas, not because the cost was necessarily higher, but because I was traveling and sociallizing more than I usually do. Having so many new and different things to do and to see, resulted in more and larger expenditures.
Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone, Housing: was more expensive than at home.
Food: was the same price as at home.
Personal comments:
I was actually suprised at how inexpensive travel is in Australia. The public transportation, whether locally or over longer distances, was well priced and easily accessible. The availability of second-hand items was a great cost-savings as well.

Food, Travel, Overall, Housing: was the same price as at home.
Nightlife, Telephone: was less expensive than at home.

Not really
