Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
I would choose the same, because it is a means of sharing a room with other people and therefore meet new people.

One of my favourite night spots is an Australian pub called the Walkabout, the music is very good there as well as the atmosphere. Another nice place is Bar Madrid on Monday and Thursday night.People teach you how to dance samba and salsa!! As for the cafe, I like Aroma, though it's a bit expensive...but the place is nice. There are lots of places and events not to be missed! It's London, you know!! They have good exhibitions and I have to say that the British Museum is a must as well as the National Gallery

It's a very good university. The teachers are very interesting and make you feel at home. The location is the best, right in the centre of London and the activities the university offers are varied and interesting.

Final comments
Going abroad is a very great experience. You meet lots of different people who live the same thing as you. I would advise to someone who wants to go to study in London to come with a lot of money because it's really expensive. You have to be ready to spend a lot! As for the accomodation, it's quite hard at the beginning to find something but then everyone is pleased and there is a very useful newspaper called the Loot with hundreds of accomodation ads

Living in a foreign country really enables you to learn more about the language you're studying. At university, you learn formal English and outside with your friends, you learn how to talk, you learn all the slang!

Personal spending habits
I spent more than at home because London's cost of life is very high and it is hard not to pay more than in France. I pay for my accomodation each week what I paid each month in France.

I think the price of the accomodation was really surprising as well as the nightlife...but it doesn't prevent you from enjoying yourself!
