If You go there for spring semester dont bother to take any kitchen supplies because people that are leaving they just will give it to you.usually fridays are free so you ar able to travel for few days and as Czech Republic is just in the middle of Europe, everything is pretty close to it. And better go Erasmus during fall semester so you acn prolong your stay :] Read Review

HOUSING

Personal assessment
Cost
KEY:
Couldn't have asked for more.
Pretty good.
Could've been better, but didn't lessen the overall experience.
Disappointing.
Facilities
Location
Cleanliness
Space
Type of housing: the first month was spent with a host family
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: A room exchange
Why? I would like to live with young students in order to improve my Czech. However, the dorms were not very nice places to live.
Personal comments:
The housing was good because I had 2 roommates, one was Czech and one was polish. Unfortunately, they put all of the Americans on the same floor and this kept us in a group. In general, I think this hindered the experience by making it more difficult to meet Czech friends.

I coped pretty well.
Sometimes it was difficult.
It was a constant struggle.
Educational
Administrative / Institutional
Overall
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't.
Personal comments:
When I left the Czech Republic I could hold conversations in Czech, some of which were complex. Czech is a difficult language to learn and many Czech's complimented me. In Prague, it is more difficult because people want to practice their English and do not have the patience to listen to your broken Czech.
