HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? I wouldn't change to anywhere else!
Personal comments:
I did enjoy a lot the building i was living in. It was the k-block, a block just for international students with all facilities and pretty close to the university. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students interact with the local community without much university involvement
Nightlife: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Activities, Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
Crazy Daisy is the biggest disco in Horsnes but not so good. I used to go to Arhus when wanted to go to a good disco. There is a student's bar in the university building downtown pretty nice. Cafe Koks is also nice, used to have live music on Thursdays. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

I had a quite cheap life there. Didn't go out too much because we always did parties in the Campus. I had problems with my Visa Electron card, they dont work there so I had to open a bank account in a Danish bank. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
I wish I was more informed about Denmark and specially Horsens. Horsens a really small city and nothing happens there, but the Erasmus/student life is really good. In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
Vitus Bering is a small university but I enjoyed a lot studying there. The relationship between student and teacher is really good. FINAL COMMENTS
I chose Denmark because I wanted to go to a country with a completely diferent culture than Portugal. I succeded on that. I had the opportunity to travel from Portugal to Denmark by car, it was an unforgetable experience. I visited some friends doing Erasmus in big cities like Barcelona and Prague and I realised that studying abroad in a small city and living on Campus is much better because this way you will have a really good relationship with all the other international students. Denmark is a really nice country, I recommend to travel and meet all of it. Be really carefull with your money because Visa Electron cards are not accepted there. I enjoyed it a lot, I recommend Horsens for your Erasmus studies and Scandinavia for good travel trips. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
