Amsterdam is an "international city", you can find EVERYTHING...you can meet ANYONE!There were very nice spots, such as Scape ( for who likes house music and dance until the sun rise), leidsplein is a great place to have dinner and museumPlein is THE PLACE if you are in a cultural mood. One of my best memmories, was the Museum Nacht, one special event, where you buy a ticket and during on entire night, you can visit all the Amsterdam's museums and travel by boat from one to the other. Well...i like a irish cafe, there is one my favourite cafe which is cafe de jaren and for clubing i like paradiso,melkeweg,three sisters,,all the park in Amsterdam are cool...A lot of nice places that I just couldn't remember one by one but...it was so...cool and don't missed cafe schaum!!! a nightlife-MUST is Paradiso (near Leidsplein). other good clubs are Club 11, Melkweg or Escape. a nice place for a picknick or a walk is the Vondelpark. best shopping places are Kalverstraat and the markets at Waterlooplein and Albert Cuyp Straat.
