For supermarket go to Aldi or Dirk. For celular phones don't use vodafone since it is the most expensive company. For bank use ABN Amro it has few taxes and internet banking. Avoid shopping in the center (near Centraal Station) because it is quite expensive.

If you are going by Erasmus protocol I know you want to have parties and play all the time, but don't forget to go to the university and to do some essays and work because if you put that aside the courses can be harder, you should not forget that you have to do exams in the end. This University is not that easy.
