Personal comments
the accomodation was well organized. the room was nice but a little bit too small for two persons; quite expensive too. very good location; near to the centre. name of the apartment house: Haus Erasmus. good fun for international students; sometimes a little bit noisy, crowded pub at the ground floor.

if your german is not good, choose classes in english (or in german but together with other exchange students). there are special classes for exchange students.

there is too much burocracy. it's not very easy to plan a semester at the WU. sometimes you just follow what the others do.

no problems outside school: english was spoken between exchange students; german with the others. sometimes I had problems in class: the austrian teacher was speaking german very fast, and I was the only exchange students in class (no respect!!)

eating in a brauhaus can be very cheap! avoid touristic places and the bermuda triangle: it's nothing special. nightlife is not expensive (cheaper than in many european big cities)
