I traveld for four times during the whole year, and it was wonderful. I went to Tallin (Estonia), Stockolm (Sweden), Oslo (Norgue).

as for me, studying abroad was an unforgettable experience, including akademik experience, student's life(!),international communication,almost haven't any problems regarding living costs(had good scholarship)

try to interact as much as possible in swedish cos outside of it you'll probably end up talking english

Finland is not as expensive as people reckons cos students rents and meals at uni are cheap and about the weather..it's very cold but if u've got good clothes u'll cope. I think Finland is as exotic as it gets in Europe , it's such a differentculture and way of life, it's worth giving it a try!

I would have had more information from my home university about courses available in host university. I had to look for all the information for my own, most of it once i was in finland. Nule courses organitation in my home University.

Remember where you are going. Scandinavian culture is far different from others. If you want to make friends and to have a good time, stay in home. If you only want to stady, they have a wonderful and advanced university.

Overall
Staff and teachers in Åbo Akademi are willing to help at any time, the library has sufficient textbooks for the course and it is easy to seek for information. However, the Information and Knowledge Management is a new topic and the teachers who can provide knowledge is limited.
