HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? It was very very close to the Classes, but because it was you own house as opposed to Halls of residence it gave you more independence.
Personal comments:
Very good, I would recomend the Courts over the Halls if you like a bit more independence, where as Halls provide a much more secure environment. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Student life dominates the city
Activities: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Nightlife: Takes place mostly outside the university/student environment Travel: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
Moose and Goose and Big Bucks!! Obviously have to go to the Falls and be sure to get to Toronto as often as possible!!! (I regret not going more!!) This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
Much more interactive than UK courses! Which is a big possitive I think!! But dont choose very small classes if you're shy and would rather not speak up.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
Not really! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't. Personal comments:
It was English - my native tongue! So just some local dialect differences. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

EXPENSES
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
Family Other sources of funding:
Personal savings Government assistance Work opportunities:
I worked, but it was illegal/cash in hand work Personal spending habits:
Food seems to just cost more from the supermarket, but probably cheaper to eat out. Plus, I didnt have amobile telephone! Food: was more expensive than at home. Travel, Nightlife, Overall: was the same price as at home. Telephone, Housing: was less expensive than at home.
Personal comments:
Can only withdraw cah for free from the bank you're with. You cant get a bank card that will allow you to purchase anything online. It's expensive to transfer money so try to do it all at oce! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
No In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
Make sure you meet as many people as possible and get involved in activities where possible even if you tend not to normally. FINAL COMMENTS
It becomes quite easy not to travel around...try to go to Montreal, Buffalo etc. Go to watch a Hockey Game is a must, and if possible an NFL game! Get on the Ice at least once too! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
