The Copenhagen Business School was founded in 1917 as a private Institution designed to cover business sector requirements for highly qualified people. In 1965, CBS became part of the national system of higher education, and the Danish State took over the responsibility for providing the funds required to cover CBS expenditures.

Course recommendations:
Honestly, the classes weren't too organized. In the classes I took, they were filled with international students. That's fine because I met a lot of great people, but with only maybe 5 Danish students per class, it was hard to meet and interact with local students. But I guess that's what the Uni bars are for!
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
No - I thought it was a nice change to come to an academic environment where I only had to take one final exam at the end of each course. It definitely left me a lot of time to enjoy Copenhagen and travel and explore Denmark. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

The course Intercultural Management is very nice. It required a lot of interaction with the teacher. Then there is the course International Advertising. This one is very interesting as well; we had a famous teacher (John Philip Jones) A drawback was that the course was not very organized.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
They use a different type of exams in a lot of courses. Here they often use, oral exams; I have never had that experience at my home university. It was a bit scary at first sight. However, there is a positive atmosphere at these oral exams. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

CEMS courses which I took where really great. There are limited places available in these courses so the classes and interaction are really interesting and valuable. Teachers communicate with students by e-mail and all courses' materials you can find and download from the web page.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
There should be maybe more przctical aspects included into teaching, e.g. more meetings with business professionals. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Haven't seen it on the program anymore but an excellent course was APIM, advanced program in international management, where three course were combined in one (finance, marketing and strategy) one of the only courses ever where different fields related and interacted. A point which is missed in most courses (all!)

Be ready to work a lot in teams, which is very interesting, because you can meet new people and discover other working methods. Be also ready to read a lot for each class!!
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
No because Danish academic methods are different from French ones, and it is very interesting to work the way they do. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Course recommendations:
I took some courses at the summer university offered by Copenhagen Business School. It was an amazing experience, since the professors and students are more international. The local students are just a small fragment of the whole class. The information exchange in terms of universities and jobs are very frequent. We still keep in touch after the courses. Although the classes are really intensive, it's a really good idea to build up your network. I definitely recommend it.

I recommend more in-class presentations. It's a good training to our presentation skills. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Teacher as in any other University can make from a course a fantastic experience as well as a fully lost of time. So ask who is teaching the course to the old students and what do they think about him/her.

All the courses I took were similar to those I would have chosen if I had stayed in Paris Dauphine. It was a way to not be "lost" when back to France. All courses I have taken in Denmark were really interesting
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
We could have been more in interaction with danish students. Otherwise academic life in Denmark is very well organized (especially team projects) and the CBS is a great place to study (architecture, design...) This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Many exams are based on workgroups, make up a group of international students only... possibly avoiding local students... and possibly choosing "valid" groupmates, because professors tend to dive the same mark to the group as a whole....
