Aim for those that try to put what you are trying to gain at the heart, and if you are brave enough and have the extra points to spear why not try on in Danish?

The banking system is straight forward, but those with language difficulties could ask for all information be sent to them in English.

It was something I wanted to do and I went about it with all the the gusto I could. I made friends with a lot of local students and mingled with them, using the language on all occassions. I also tried learnign Swedish just to see how far I could go.

Final comments
the night buses are efficent so you should alway try and buy a monthly card because it is cheaper in the long run. Bicycle use is very common due to the flat nature of the country.

I was often at the Student house for the international student night. Near the round tower, it was not a bad place to get to meet others like you and share your experiences. There is also Vega which is a night club in a some what dangerous part of Copenhagen, but the music and entertainment was very nice. The Jazz festival in Summer is not to be missed and the Christmas beers and festivities known as Christmas lunches are something all foreigners can enjoy.

Housing
Type of housing: Student Dorm
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: The same Accomoation I lived in previously
Why?
I enjoyed the atmosphere and the surounding. It was not too far from town yet I was able to Study well as well as mix with local population and improve my Danish because I had very little contact with other foriegn exchanges students like myself because the Dorm, or Kollegium was filled with other Danish students.
