Personal assessment
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why? Because it is where you can breathe the authentic Erasmus atmosphere, the most of the friends you meet live there and besides you live near university.
Personal comments:
Although I would have preferred to live on campus, my house and its location (between university and Copenhagen city centre) were pretty good. The only negative thing was my host was not very friendly with me. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
The curriculum should be updated according to the new opening courses. So far we have a rather odd rule. Students rarely can earn official credits by taking the new announced courses. It is simply because these courses did not exist on the fixed curriculum at the time they were admitted.

my english is becoming better and better each day I spent in Denmark since I lived with 5 other internationl students and we spoke english together. After the first days, when I was sure I would not speak to anyone for the all year, because of my bad english, I found out that try to speak english can be fun and it helps a lot to get new friends This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
Be able to ask Accommodation Office of university to live in Campus Village. In general, they look for and suggest any kind of accommodation for you (family, house, room, campus, etc.), and if you don't accept his suggestion, you have to look for on your own. In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
If you are studying any kind of engineering, Danmarks Tekniske Universitet in Lyngby (10 kms from Copenhagen) is your university: Very good teaching method, media easily accesible, library, etc. This university cares about international students: It offers an introduction week before starting every semester, where you can meet other international students. A Danish student was assigned in order to help me in every problem I had and finally we become friends. FINAL COMMENTS
Travel as much as you can, Erasmus year is time to get to know other places, cultures and life styles (Denmark is very well located between Scandinavia and center Europe). Try to meet international friends, your English will improve surprisingly. Despite general opinions, you can find very very friendly people in Denmark, but you have to be prepared to meet the opposite: Very cold Danish people, who don't want to talk to you or become your friend. However, my main advice is you have to enjoy Erasmus experience staying abroad the whole year!!! This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
