Final comments
The Basque countryside is really beautiful. When you are a girl, going out is almost completely free. Do not speak about politics with basque people unless you know them well. Don't think they are your friends for ever, they are very family centrated.

The local language was Basque and I never felt attracted by the idea of learning it. I loved learning Spanish and I am very happy to speak it fluently now.
