Why? I lived with other university students, some of whom were german and some were international students. It was a good opportuiinty to socialise with others
Personal comments:
It was fantasic meeting people from a variety of backgrounds. The facilities were clean. It was completely independent living, not like a college dorm.

Personal comments:
I enrolled in an intensive course at the beginning of my stay. It was the best thing I could have done, I learnt so much and in 4 weeks was starting to get comfortable with German.

Travel - because I had the time to travel more than I have at home in Australia. Housing is more expensive in Germany than in Australia.
Travel, Housing: was more expensive than at home.
Food, Nightlife, Overall, Telephone: was the same price as at home.

If you're from Australia, open a Westpac account and use the Deutsche Bank atms for fee free withdrawls
