HOUSING
Personal assessment
Type of housing: a room
Arranged by: Independently - I had no other choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why? Living with unknown people in Barcelona was a bad experience for me and I would prefer to rent a place on my own.
Personal comments:
The university does not provide its students with housing and everybody should look for one on their own. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

STUDENT LIFE
Personal social experience
Describe host city: Students equally interact with the local and student community
Travel: Takes place mostly within the university/student environment Activities, Nightlife: Takes place both within and outside of the university/student environment Personal comments:
La oveja negra, a small French cafe close to EAE This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

My academic experiences
Course recommendations:
English courses weren't of a very good quality.
My opinion of the university assessment
Personal comments:
Some of the subjects were missing a clear-cut structure, were a bot chaotic. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

Language difficulties
Language of instruction: Spanish
Was learning Spanish a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't. Personal comments:
At the beginning I didn't speak much Spanish but learnt it quite fast since people in general were hardly speaking English. I would recommend the Spanish courses in the school and not the English ones- This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

EXPENSES
The accessibility of student needs
Main source of funding:
Family Other sources of funding:
Personal savings An ERASMUS grant Work opportunities:
I worked during my study abroad experience Personal spending habits:
I surely spent more money in Barcelona than in Bamberg, especially my housing expenses were quite high. Food, Travel, Nightlife, Overall, Housing: was more expensive than at home. Telephone: was the same price as at home.
Personal comments:
The rooms for rent are really expensive, be prepared to pay between 300 and 500 per room. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself

OVERALL
Important to choosing this university...
I wish I had known...
That rooms are very expensive and have often no windows. In my opinion:
Everybody loved it, you will too!
During my experience abroad, I ...
Personal recommendation:
I had a very good teacher in economics: Andres de Andres-very qualified and always helpful, wish there were more like him... FINAL COMMENTS
I really had a great time in Barcelona and am sure everybody would also have great time there-great city, great food, beach, many cultural events. I can recommend visiting Montserrat, Valencia and Madrid. This review is the opinion of an iAgora member, and not of iAgora itself
